Week in review: 11/30-12/6/09

Nikolas had his Christmas concert at school this week. The first and second graders sang together during a short play put on by the choir club. Since Nik wanted to stand next to his much taller friend, we didn't get too many pictures during the show.

On Saturday, we headed over to Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shop. There was a lot for the kids to do while waiting to see Santa.

Nik asked the big guy for Nintendo DS. Santa said he would see what he could do.

There was also a craft area to make reindeer hats. Here is Nik's creation.

Saturday afternoon our family transformed into citizens of Bethlehem for the Night in Bethlehem event at our church. Nik and I got to be stonemasons, building a new inn to accomodate all the travelers for the census.

For the second year in a row, Gary took a new wife as his Mary, for his performance as Joseph, stepdad to the savior. This year he was paired with our pastor's fiance.

Sunday morning, Nikolas awoke to find a little something left for him on his namesake day.

Neat! Love the reindeer hat.
St. Nicholas showed up at our house too. I do think that my kids are getting a little too old for that.
