Go!

Shhhhh! This is part of the Christmas present for my boss, who recently purchased a motorcycle. It includes the lyrics to the song "Little Honda" by the Beach Boys and will go in a 12x12 frame.

217th Layout of 2015-Moose Patrol/Grub Time

This is the first time every making 6x12 layouts. These two will be back-to-back in a page protector I created using my Fuse tool. This layout will be in the middle of the Greene Valley layout I will post tomorrow since it is more photos from that camp-out but all these photos are of the adult leaders rather than the scouts.

November TBR

I have caught up with posting the layouts I have completed. I have two almost done, they are just waiting for journaling from my husband because they are Boy Scout layouts and I don’t know the full story/who-what-where-when & why.

So, to have something to post, I am copying something I recently discovered on You Tube-To Be Read monthly posts. So here are the books I am hoping to finish/read/start in November:

PlanetMiddle School by Dr. Kevin Leman-I am currently reading this now so I just need to finish it up. I have read several of Dr. Leman’s other books (The Birth Order Book, Have a New _______ By Friday) but I am not getting very much out of this one. So after about 8-9 chapters, I am skimming the rest and just reading the sections that peak my interest.

The next book I will read is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. This was recommended by Nik’s Language Arts teacher at his parent/teacher conference for him to read. The premise sounded interesting so I thought I would read it first so I can discuss it with him when he reads it.

Then I hope to pick up Troublemaker by Leah Remini. I have watched several episodes of Leah’s reality show and her experience with the church of Scientology is very interesting to me. I’m looking forward to reading more about life in this cult from this very funny lady.

I am a pretty slow reader, but if time permits, my next choice will beThe Death and Life of Zebulon Finch by Danile Kraus. I have had this in my “To Read” section of Good Reads for a bit and it just came out in the end of October. I like that it takes place in Chicago from the late 1890s onward.

At the end of the month, I will do a recap/review and see how I did.
