Project 52: Weeks 42-45

Have to catch up with the Project 52 photos after being sick for a while.

Week 42: Nik in his Ghostbusters costume at Boo at the Zoo.

Week 43: Me in the costume I made. I didn't get to wear it to Nik's school or trunk or treat since Nik and I were both sick.

Week 44: Halloween-Nik got to go trick or treating with our neighbors, who are also two of his close friends.

Week 45: Reorganizing my stamp pads. Did you know that the Stampin' Up ink pads fit very nicely in a photo box put on its side? I got these boxes at Michaels while they were on sale this week (3 for $5).

OWH sketch 42: hugs & kisses

After over 10 days of being sick, I am starting to feel well enough to get back to some card making. Here is my card based on the new Operation Write Home sketch. Operation Write Home is one of the 3 finalists in the Joann's Craft for a Cause contest. Help this great group send homemade cards to deployed troops so they can write home to family and friends. OWH Star's and Stamps Midweek Throwdown: masculine card

I've made cards using this pattern paper (Creative Imaginations) before for church. I needed a card for our nephew's upcoming birthday so I decided to make another one for OWH.

Operation Write Home-Batch 2

Since I sent my first batch of OWH cards to April at Scrapping the Magic this past Monday, I have started a second batch. This is the first 7 cards I made using leftovers from two Coordinates Collections kits.

These are using Soda Pop

and these are using the Charmed kit:
