The Be Young cartridge used to be an exclusive to Creative Memories before they went out of business. Cricut thankfully reissued it along with the other CM exclusives. I wanted Be Young mostly because it included two cool fonts.

Cricut Card Challenge-Week 7:Artbooking

Artbooking cartridge is a Close to My Heart exclusive. It is designed to make scrapbook layouts, so the Real Deal button is essential if you do not want the size shown in the layout, but it doesn't work perfectly if you are doing layers such as the presents on the birthday card or the two layers of the owl.

Cricut Card Challenge Week 6-Birthday Bash

 I kinda dropped the ball earlier this year with my Cricut weekly card challenge, but decided to try and pick up where I left off--week 6 which is the Birthday Bash cartridge. This cartridge has tons of adorable animals celebrating, a fun font, phrases and card shapes. I used two of the card shapes (snail and buffalo) for these three cards:

 These cards will go to my mother-in-law for Christmas. I usually give her handmade cards that she can use throughout the year.
