Shedd Aquarium Field Trip-3/17/10

All the kids got these great personalized shirts to wear on the trip.


One of the first things we did was find a seat for the Fantasea show. Nik's teacher is on the far left.


The show featured beluga whales, penguins, and dolphins.


This special volunteer got to listen to the dolphin's heart.


After the show we enjoyed lots more aquatic animals.

Project 52: Week 11-Aquarium Field Trip

I was one of the field trip chaperone's on Nik's class trip to the Shedd Aquarium.

Project 52-Week 10

Less than 50 days until Sister Scrapbook Weekend, so I am in major page-planning mode. I love the Eifel Tower I cut with my Silhouette.

Vegas Trip-Day 3

We had a relaxing Sunday morning and afternoon. Gary & I met my aunt and uncle for a buffet dinner at Eastside Cannery. Then we went to The Mentalist show at Planet Hollywood. The show on CBS with the same name is loosely based on Gerry.


He guessed a telephone number "randomly" from the phone book.


He guessed what the first word was on the page Janine stopped at.

Vegas Trip-Day 2

On Saturday morning, we took a drive through Red Rock


Then we headed to the strip and did some sight seeing.












After dinner at the Tap House (hundreds of beers on tap!!), we spent the evening at the Piano Bar at Harrah's where we enjoyed karaoke and dueling pianos.

Vegas Trip-Day 1

Friday night we went to Fremont Street. We got to see a lot of restored neon signs from the golden days of the strip.

We got to see the "Bad to the Bone" Fremont Street Experience and the Area 51 version.




We also got to hear Foghat, who were playing out on the street.

Project 52-Week 9
