Celebrating my nephews' birthdays last December. Everything is from the Let’s Pretend collection from Imaginisce except the white cardstock and the Stampin’ Up marker I used to write the names and ages.

Our Little Genius
Preschool graduation was last night. I can't believe how misty-eyed I was getting during the program. Nikolas has made a bunch of good friends--unfortunately most will not be going to the same school as Nik next year.
When he was walking back to his classroom last night to take off his cap and gown, he said "Mom, I look like a genius!"

After the ceremony, Grandma Mary took us out for ice cream. Today was the last day picnic and thankfully, the rain didn't start until an hour into it. The kids enjoyed riding bikes, blowing bubbles, painting rocks and bouncing it a inflatable that one of the kid's grandmas brought.

Puppy Album
I got invited to a "puppy shower" for a friend and former coworker. I took a couple of hours today and put together this Instant Album (just add pictures) for her. I had everything I used on hand and got to use a bunch of the pattern papers from the Pet Stack from Die Cuts With a View. My scanner is not working, so sorry about the bad photos.
Layout of the Day
My eldest nephew, Ethan, graduates from high school this Friday. This is a layout I made for the scrapbook his mom has put together for his party.
Pattern paper (Let’s Pretend from Imaginisce), pig sticker (Westrim), button (Favorite Findings), epoxy stickers (Horizon Group), every thing else is stash.

Layout of the Day--Would U Rather...?
We had fun playing the board game, Would Your Rather while celebrating Christmas with my side of the family. Pattern paper and letter stickers are from the He Said kit (Aug 07) and the arrows are from the Edgar Allen Poe kit (Oct. 07) from Coordinates Collections. The journaling sticker is American Crafts and the card stock is from my stash.

Happy Mail
I love getting fun stuff in the mail! Today I received the scrappy stuff I ordered from PaperCents.com. I picked up the creative kit and baseball chipboard album for Love, Elsie's Cody collection. I was pleasantly surprised by how many pages the album includes. I will definitely be able to scrap Nik's whole tee-ball season, plus the league outing to the Kane County Cougars game next month!
Can't wait to get creative--just need to develop some photos.

Finally a Newbery Winner That Truly Is
Just finished my the fifth of the twelve Newbery award winners I am hoping to read this year. The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo is a sweet and wonderful fairy tale. As I was reading, I kept thinking, "This would make a cute movie" and I was right! The animated movie version is scheduled to come out this December.

My Baby Lost His First Tooth!
Gary first noticed that Nik's bottom tooth was loose on April 15th, and it took almost three weeks for it to finally come out. We were eating supper and Nikolas had just taken a bite of watermelon. He spit something out and asked, "Mom, is that my tooth." After I told him yes, he told me he had thought he was chewing a piece of plastic. Then he told his tooth he was sorry he almost ate it. I told him at bedtime tonight that I was going to try to email the Tooth Fairy and ask if I could get his tooth back so I can scrapbook it.

Layout of the Day - Chewy
I spent last night at Archivers with my sister celebrating National Scrapbooking Day (We missed you, Jen). I got 13 layouts done (16 pages)! Here is the first one, another for the dog's book. The pattern papers are from The Pet Stack from Die Cuts with a View and I got to use one of the great doggy tags I picked up from Elle's Studio on Etsy.
